Training We Offer

Houston Forklift Safety will begin offering several new “Hazard & Awareness”, “Authorized User” and Competent Person/Train the Trainer classes in 2018. The reasons for these different “types” of training is because, while most OSHA Standards address the specific needs for employee training, the types of training and the amount of training required for each employee could vary.
In a large warehouse, for example, a “Loader” who only operates hand trucks would not need to attend a 3-6 hour “Forklift Safety” class. They could attend a “Pedestrian Safety” or “Warehouse Safety” course instead. Forklift Drivers, on the other hand, would usually need to be trained and/or certified in forklift safety, warehouse safety and pedestrian safety. this is why most OSHA standards require site and machine specific training.

With this in mind, here is the complete list of the OSHA-compliant classes that Houston Forklift Safety offers (please note that many of these courses can be combined:
